What is movement? How can it be created in photography? What were some of you challenges while shooting this project? Movement is the act of changing someone or something's physical position and there are a few ways that one can capture it in photography. One of the most common in practical ways to capture movement on camera is by having a long shutter speed. And some of my challenges during the project would be determining how long I wanted my shutter to be open. Are you happy with how your photos came out? Explain. If you could do anything different, what would you do? Why?
overall I would say that I was pretty happy with the photos I was able to get. If we had a lot more resources and time I felt like we could've gotten a lot more cooler shots.

What is depth of field? the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects to be in focus in a camera. 2. What are the two types? Wide and Narrow 3. How is each one created They can be determined by what f stop your camera is on. If you want a wide depth of field, you need a higher f stop. And if you want a narrow depth of field, you need a lower f stop 4. What was the purpose of this assignment and what were you instructed to do? The purpose of this project was to explore the many functions of our camera. In this project we learned a lot more about depth of field 1. What were some of your biggest challenges during this mini project? Were you able to over come those obstacles? If so, how?
I would say one of the biggest challenges I faced was finding interesting objects to photograph. Microphotography how does pay attention to the small insignificant details that can make a really nice shots once zoomed in really close. Normal things like a dropped penny or a leaf on the ground can create great photographs when taken from very up close and with great detai.
-Explain the purpose of the project? What did I have to do? What songs did you choose? Why? The purpose of this was to examine a popular song or poem and being able to translate the lyrics into a photos. I played the role of the "super rich kid" so I had to appear in every photo. Also when it came to my photos, I would ask whoever was taking the picture( mostly Maria) how I want the shot and from what angle. Our song was "Super Rich Kids" by Frank Ocean and the reason we chose this song was because it's message of being wealthy at a young age. If you ask most teenagers if they would want to be rich they would agree in a heartbeat. But the song reflects on the negative aspects of wealth at a young age and what it can do to you personally and socially. For example,In the first photo we see a friend showing the "super rich kid" a bag of cocaine he found in his room while the "super rich kid "lies , Claiming that it isn't his. This could be a metaphor for how many young child actors turn to a life of drugs after becoming rich and famous. -What is your favorite part of the project?
I would say that my favorite part of the project was being able to interact with one of my favorite songs and being able to display my views of what the song meant. -what improvements, if any would you make to this project? If I had to make any improvements to the photo shoot it would be its production value. Within the song and the artist mention lots of lavish items like wine cellars, mansion, and jaguar sports cars. And since none of us have access to any of that we made good use of what we had. |
